We have a direct partnership with Iganga Hospital.
Iganga hospital would like to establish a collaborative partnership with health providers/managers in Europe USA or with other institutions.
They would particularly be interested in exchange programmes with such institutions in areas including but not limited to personnel skills and other technological and research advances. They also hope that the vast burden of tropical ailments will offer experience and challenges to the health personnel in your country. Background information
Iganga hospital is located in eastern Uganda along Kampala – Tororo highway. It is a level V referral facility for the district. It was constructed in 1968 to provide quality health care services to the surrounding populace and beyond. It serves a catchment population of over 1.5 millions covering parts of the districts of Mayuge, Bugiri, Tororo, Kamuli and Jinja.
It was initially designed to load a bed capacity of 100 and the population then was 250,000. Today, however, because of the clientele increase, the hospital has a bed capacity of 166. It is the headquarters of Kigulu South Health Sub-district.

To provide high quality integrated health services to the local populace and surrounding areas.
Vision:-
Improved health and reduced disease burden to atleast 85 – 90% in Iganga district and surrounding areas.
General objective:
To improve the quality of health services delivery in Iganga district and the surrounding areas.
Services offered:
All the basic services are offered at the hospital and they include:-
OPD, Dental services, Ear, Nose and Throat services, Eye services, Mental health care, ANC, Physiotherapy, Orthopedic services, X-ray, Immunization and Tuberculosis services. Adolescent reproductive care, ARV services and Public health activities (School health programme, and immunization activities OPD and other preventive, promotive, curative and rehabilitative services.
