Before Suubi was set up there, were lots of related problems , most of them still do exist but Suubi Medical clinic Can and is making a . The major issues include:
* Rampant nutritional deficiency. For example, develop cataract due to vitamin A deficiency. This remains and due to the unavailability of medical services in total at the age of five to eight years.
* A large majority of women are due to the lack of nutrition, high childbirth (six to eight births per woman) and short interval between births (12 to 18 months).
* An effective program for and children did not exist.
* A high death rate of women during childbirth due to lack of adequate obstetric services.
* Tuberculosis is back and is at a high rate, but there was no treatment or prevention program in place.
* No system for to emergency cases or them to a city hospital, in illness or possibly death.
* Neither an adequate medical facility nor doctors were available for the of common diseases as well as serious diseases. Common diseases include: fever, malaria, tuberculosis, joint pain, gastroenteritis, , worm disease respiratory disease, infections and obstertrics.
* Serious diseases, such as heart diseases, cancer, orthopedics, eye diseases, blood diseases, and kidney diseases are on the rise.
